Rating Reduction Terms & Conditions

  • Applies only to current Alcumus SafeContractor members.
  • Applies only to policies underwritten by Zurich Ltd via their scheme ‘tradesman’ offering and / or their e-traded platform, excluding Terrorism and Legal Expenses covers.
  • The rate reduction is open to both new and existing Alcumus Insurance Services customers.
  • The rate reduction is calculated as a 20% reduction on the gross rate – before application of IPT.
  • The rate reduction is only open to customers who have not claimed against a Public Liability or Employers’ Liability policy within the last 3 years.
  • This rate reduction is not open to policies purchased on any affiliate sites including Quidco, Topcashback and easyfundrasing.
  • Alcumus Insurance Services may from time to time require proof of ongoing Alcumus SafeContractor membership. We will not return any documentation received in conjunction with this rate reduction offer.
  • Alcumus Insurance Services reserves the right to withdraw the rate reduction offer at any point for any reason.
  • The product and insurer offered as part of this promotion is at the discretion of Alcumus Insurance Services, and may not be the product or insurer offered online.
  • Underwriting terms, conditions, acceptance criteria and exclusions may apply. Businesses with a turnover in excess of £10m may not be able to access the 20% rate reduction.
  • There may be times when we are unable to offer cover, and our decision as to whether we wish to offer insurance is at our discretion.
  • The offer is open to businesses located in the United Kingdom, including Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands.
